Isn't 50,000 words in 30 days an average of 1,667 words per day? By my count, you've got nothing to worry about.

My goal was 5000 today. If I get this dam work done I might hit 3500. I can't write on weekends and Turkey day will knock off 2.5 days so I am left with 22 days. so thats roughly 2300/day.

I'm sitting at just over 1600 at the moment and hopefully I'll get another 1000 or so done for the first chapter tonight. The plan is to get as far ahead of the average as quickly as possible, but that's not so easy with two different Champions League Football games on tv tonight.
